2020 Tokyo Olympics opening ceremony takes place in near-empty stadium

수도 확진자 천 명 이상 잇따른 가운데, 드디어 개막한 2020 도쿄 올림픽

Under the theme "United by Emotion", the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics kicked off.
In a stadium built to hold around 70-thousand people,...most seats were left empty due to the pandemic.
There were 9-hundred-50 reserved for VIPs... including U.S. First Lady Jill Biden and French President Emmanuel Macron.
On Friday, the Japanese capital reported 1-thousand- 3-hundred-59 COVID-19 cases, 110 were linked to the global Games.
