EA has confirmed that FIFA 22 will be releasing on the 1st October 2021 but this release date is only for the FIFA 22 Standard Edition. There's a couple different ways that you can get FIFA 22 earlier and cheaper.

It seems like just a few weeks back we were talking FIFA 22 Leaks and now we have confirmed information, as well as multiple FIFA 22 editions that you can buy into. This is the FIFA 22 Standard edition & the FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition. Both give access to the game but you can also get additional rewards that will benefit you in FIFA 22 Career Mode, FIFA 22 Pro Clubs, FIFA 22 Volta or FIFA 22 Ultimate Team. As Ultimate Team is the biggest and most popular game mode, it has the most rewards.

FIFA 22 Standard Edition is £69.99 on Xbox Series X/S & PS5 or £59.99 on Xbox One, PS4 & PC. For this FIFA 22 Edition , you will get access to the game + 1 TOTW Player, Kylian Mbappe load item, FUT 22 Ambassador loan player pick and a Career Mode Homegrown talent.

FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition is £89.99 on all previous gens and next gen consoles. With this FIFA 22 Edition, you get all the benefits from the FIFA 22 Standard Edition + you get a Ones To Watch Player Item, 4 Days Early Access, Dual Entitlement from previous gen consoles to next gen consoles and finally you get 4600 FIFA Points. In addition to all this, if you pre order FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition before the 14th August, you will get a limited time offer where you get FUT Heroes item from 1st December.

Both of these FIFA editions can be be very pricey but there are ways to get them cheaper when buying the FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition through the FIFA 21 menu. If you want a discount on the FIFA 22 standard edition, you can purchase a subscription to EA Play which will give a 10% discount on FIFA 22 Standard Edition and you can then refund your EA Play Subscription.
