Covid pass could be made compulsory for entry to large events, UK government confirms

Vaccine minister, Nadhim Zahawi, has confirmed that the government intends to go ahead with making being vaccinated a condition for entry to nightclubs from September. Zahawi explained, after a successful trial, the government has rolled out the NHS Covid pass which allows people to demonstrate their Covid status, whether proof of vaccination, test results or natural immunity. He added the government reserves the right to make its use compulsory in the future but confirmed that MPs will get a vote on the plans to use Covid passports
