The cabin building has access to a public boat landing, canoes, dock, fire pit, and a large front lawn for tents. There is also an organic grocery store about 4.5 miles away.
This rustic log cabin building is on a small lake with mostly pontoons and fishing boats, but is large enough for water skiing/tubing, and more. The small lake has very light water traffic with loons and plenty of wildlife all around. In the winter you can enjoy ice fishing and snowmobiling. The basement of the log house has a wood stove and a fireplace on the main floor for the fall and winter warmth. There is also a full furnace and radiant heat in the basement. There are enough beds for eight people with two queen beds, two doubles and a double and futon in the loft. The log house rental has two full baths. This log house space makes a great writer/artist retreat, especially in the fall and winter months when there are virtually no neighbors around, so it is very quiet. The cabin building has a microwave, coffee maker, coffee press, and washer/dryer. The entire cabin building has 100 feet of lake shore with dock. Rentals are available for 1/2 day, full day, and weekly rates. There is pontoon, ski boat, fishing boat, kayak, paddle boat, snowmobiles and more available through the local rental service. The local organic store is about 4.5 miles away, along with Louie's Finer Meats home of award-winning brats and a Sammy's Pizza that is just 9 miles away.
