Twitch Rivals was forced to do an entire tournament reset of their $75,000 Warzone showdown after a Twitch partner was caught hacking on stream for multiple games.
Twitch Rivals was using custom lobbies to prevent hackers from ruining their huge Warzone event...but their poor response when a hacker showed up among the invited players forced them to restart the entire event anyway.
Fifakill first reported being killed by a hacker in the Warzone event, but was told by Twitch Rivals that not only could he not get a reset on his game, they were going to allow the alleged hacker to keep on playing. This continued for nearly an hour, despite clips surfacing showing what looks like blatant hacking from the streamer in question, and Warzone pros like Newbz, TeeP, and DougIsRaw calling out the hacking.
By the time Twitch Rivals finally realized that an invited player was in fact hacking, it was too late to try and fix the damage. They were forced to reset the entire event and basically waste hours of game time by all the players involved...just because they took so long to react to one of the most blatant episodes of Warzone hacking we have seen in a while.
