This precious 14-week-old Great Dane was born paralyzed after being part of an accidental litter. Sadly, a few of her siblings didn't make it, and this sweet girl was only getting progressively worse over the last few weeks.
When this sweet girl's previous owners took her to the vet, the doctor recommended euthanasia. Shortly after, this sweet girl was surrendered to rescuers at The Pawerful Rescue to get her the help she needed.
Today, 8/23, this sweet girl will see a vet and then a neurologist to get to the bottom of her issues. But just from an eyeball test, it's evident that her spine is deformed and she doesn't seem to have control of her front or back legs. The good news is she is able to go to the bathroom on her own.
Rescuers couldn't be more excited to have this little girl with them. Very soon they will be pinpointing all that's going on with her so that she can start living her best life!
