Searching for AXOLOTLS in Minecraft

We are on the hunt to find Axolotls. We were searching high and low in hopes to find this new adorable creature! I've never actually seen the axolotls in Minecraft before, I knew they were coming but I mostly play in 1.12 so the new update has been a really fun experience for me. Searching for these Axolotls was a pain in the butt haha! I heard they spawn in dark areas, so we first searched the mines for any underwater areas but we had no luck, we then went to the deepest darkest ocean we could find and we found tons of little axolotls swimming around! our search was over, but we wanted to see who could find the most in this friendly little challenge!
