It was a great film and the greatest escape. 200 prisoners who were to be smuggled out of a camp the Germans said was escape proof. It was the most daring break-out of World War 2, a story of great cunning, incredible courage - and an escapade in which Australian prisoners of war figured prominently. This week, they returned to what remains of Stalag Luft 3, to remember sixty years on why it's every soldier's duty to try and escape from the enemy.
