Residents of Plymouth shared their reactions to the mass shooting in the Keyham area of the city where six people, including the suspect, were found dead on Friday.
Two females and three males died from gunfire injuries at the crime scene, reported Devon and Cornwall police. One of the fatally injured was a child under the age of ten.
A Plymouth local who crossed paths with the shooter said, "he came past this area, down the steps past me and my brother he pointed the weapon at me," and then added that he spoke to the perpetrator, "I said to the fella, "excuse me mate you shouldn't be walking around with a weapon in broad daylight". He turned around and said, "don't worry mate, you will hear about it on the news later."
Police reports also said that officers and ambulance staff were called to respond to a severe incident around 18:10 local time (17:10 GMT) on Thursday.
A forensics team along with police officials were seen working at the scene, searching for further clues.
