Tips for Installing RV Under-Glow LED Lights

Tips for Installing RV Under-Glow LED Lights

In this video we discuss a couple tips for mounting LED lights to an RV underbelly. This is becoming more and more popular throughout the RV industry and we wanted to show how you can mount our LED strips to ensure years of use. In this instance we installed our Full Perimeter RV Under-Glow LED Light Kit on a 2020 Newmar Ventana 4369 Class A Motorhome. This diesel pusher has a tandem axle and stationary front generator mount. Our Dual-Zone Controller Module is powered via 12vdc and mounted in the House Battery Bay which is located behind the steer axle on the driver's side of the rig.

This installation uses our Full Perimeter RV Under-Glow LED Light Kit (Motorhome Configuration): https://www.boogeylights.com/full-perimeter-rv-under-glow-led-light-kit/

As for the mounting surfaces; we're using aluminum flat bar (1.5" wide x 1/8" thick): https://www.boogeylights.com/aluminum-flat-bar/ as well as Aluminum Angle (1.5" x 1.5" x 1/8") for the generator mount.
