Spain lifts restrictions on sporting activities | SNE | Sports News Extra

Spain has announced that it will lift restrictions on indoor and outdoor sports from October 1st, after which spectators will be allowed to enter the playgrounds. 80% spectators will be able to enjoy indoor sports while 100% spectators will be able to enjoy outdoor sports. Earlier, 40 to 40 per cent people were allowed to sit indoors and outdoors. The Spanish government has allowed the new rules to apply from October 1 to 31. In Spain, 95.1% of the population over the age of 40 has received the first dose of corona virus. The lowest number of 2290 corona cases has been recorded in the last 14 days since July 2020, according to figures released by the Spanish Department of Health. Even in a population of one lakh, the rate of cases has come down significantly. 76.9% of Spain's population has received full vaccination. 74% of people between the ages of 30 and 39 have received both doses. Provincial governments have responded positively to the government's decision to reduce sanctions.
