Harry and Meghan 'don't know where' Hollywood stops and real life starts

News Corp Columnist David Penberthy says Prince Harry and Meghan Markle "can't have it both ways" by playing the victims while being manipulative.

It comes after a series of texts have revealed Ms Markle expected a letter she wrote to her father to be leaked.

Mr Penberthy said the concept of service and "humbly toiling away for the good of the nation", personified by the "less headline-grabbing members of the royal family" is something that Prince Harry and Ms Markle seem to have lost touch with.

"They don't seem to know where real life starts and stops and where Hollywood begins," he told Sky News Australia.

"There's something kind of lamely manipulative about that leaked, or, rather, disclosed exchange of text messages today.

"They ... can't have it both ways, they can't on the one hand claim that they're the victim of all this scrutiny and cry victimhood about it when something as sort, of stage-managed as that is made public."
