Never forget that a majority of Supreme Court justices were appointed by presidents who initially lost the popular vote. The court is now poised to overturn Roe v. Wade, despite Americans supporting the landmark abortion ruling by a roughly 2-to-1 margin.
This is not how a democracy is supposed to work.
