In early 2020, security researchers Gabriel Cirlig and Andrew Tierney claimed that Xiaomi’s web browsers collect excessive data even in incognito mode. Another report by Lithuanian NCSC has also proved that Xiaomi was sending user data to its servers in Singapore.
