Why you should never trust Xiaomi?

Even if you have never owned one of its phones, Xiaomi would probably be among the brands you consider when looking for a good bargain. From budget phones to flagship killers and more, Xiaomi offers many affordable gadgets with great specs. Yet, past revelations put Xiaomi’s privacy practices into question. In early 2020, security researchers Gabriel Cirlig and Andrew Tierney claimed that Xiaomi’s web browsers collect excessive data even in incognito mode. Another report by Lithuanian NCSC has also proved that Xiaomi was sending user data to its servers in Singapore. So, we have a lot of evidence available that proves that trusting Xiaomi is not a good move.
