Footage released by Ukrainian ground forces on March 8, 2022, shows a highway in Ukraine’s northeastern Sumy region littered with the burnt-out remains of Russian military vehicles. Soldiers could be seen picking through the wreckage and seizing Russian ammunition boxes. Earlier, a Russian air strike hit a residential street in the city of Sumy on March 7, killing at least 21 people, including two children, according to the regional prosecutor’s office.
