In this video I also demonstrate the Chinese Waitress (Double-Chain) Cast-Off on Garter stitch and show that it is very stretchy and looks identical to the Chinese Waitress Cast-On.
The Long-Tail Cast-On has a barely-visible edge on Garter stitch. It is fairly stretchy. The standard bind-off leaves a visible chain of stitches that looks nothing like the Long-Tail Cast-On. The standard bind-off is also firm and not stretchy.
