UK: 'They fell apart' - Fans react to England's Euro 2020 final defeat to Italy

Football fans gave their opinions on the English national team and their performance in the final of Sunday night's Euro 2020 championship as the big clean up begins in central London after thousands of England fans flocked to the capital to watch the game.

"I felt like even after they scored the first goal, I didn't feel like they played well enough. They played well for a short time, for only 15 minutes,” said one fan, who said he thought the team ‘fell apart.’

Street cleaners were seen sweeping up empty bottles and piles of rubbish in and around the fan zone area at Trafalgar Square on Monday morning after England lost the cup against Italy in a penalty shootout.
