China blown away by Su Bingtian, first Chinese runner to reach Olympic men’s 100m final

China has hailed local sprinter Su Bingtian for becoming the first Chinese and only the second Asian runner to qualify in the men’s 100m Olympics final. The 32-year-old set a new Asian record in the semi-finals with a barnstorming time of 9.83 seconds, but missed a medal by finishing sixth in the final.
