NEET cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks to be obtained to pass the NEET entrance exam . NEET UG 2021 cutoff for general category candidates is 50th percentile. While for SC/ST/OBC and general-PH aspirants, NEET qualifying percentile is 40th and 45th percentile, respectively. Last year, NEET cutoff scores for the general category were 720-147, while for SC/ST/OBC it was 146-113. Medical aspirants will be shortlisted on the basis of NEET cutoff 2021 for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH , BVSc & AH and BSc nursing courses. Candidates willing to study MBBS / BDS abroad must obtain NEET 2021 cutoff percentile and scores. According to last year statistics, out of 15,97,435 test takers, only 7,71,500 aspirants managed to pass the exam by securing NEET minimum qualifying percentile.

In case of vacant seats left, NTA in consultation with the National Medical Commission (NMC) and Dental Council of India (DCI) may lower the NEET cutoff. NTA will prepare the NEET merit list 2021 on the basis of NEET cutoff marks. Based on the NEET 2021 cut off, the admission to 15% All India Quota (AIQ), 85% state quota, deemed/central university, ESIC/AFMS institutes, AIIMS and JIPMER colleges will be done. The cutoff scores of NEET 2021 will be announced along with the result on the official website. The minimum NEET 2021 cut off marks must be secured to pass the offline medical entrance examination.
