What are voiced and unvoiced consonants?
In this video I explain and demonstrate the difference between these two types of sounds in English.
English has 44 different individual sounds, or phonemes. There are 20 vowel sounds, all of which are voiced, and 24 consonant sounds, 9 of which are unvoiced or voiceless.
