Diwakar is eating food with his wife and is very particular about hygiene. He keeps cleaning the plate several times before having some salad. He suddenly starts choking on the food and is rushed to the hospital where he is declared lifeless. His wife calls up CID as she is suspicious of the case. Dr. Salunkhe tells everyone how Diwakar had consumed Taramocia, a type of brain-eating insect which is not found in Mumbai. The insect crawls under the skin and reaches the brain.
